Service Award - Monique Taylor
Definition of a volunteer: A person who freely offers their services and undertakes a task for the organization.

Delores and Karen would personally like to thank each and every one of you for your continued support to our Club and express to you how important your involvement is for the continued success of this club. Delores and I did not have an easy task selecting this year's "Outstanding Service Award" recipient. Many of you go above and beyond what we as a club need to survive. Several members stood out and from those, we narrowed it down to two. After discussion we decided on our award recipient.

This person has been in the club for over 12 years...has always volunteered with a smile: has been chairperson of the brat fry/bake sale, organizes club trips, hands out candy for the Sled Bugs at the Town of Sussex/Lisbon Easter Extravaganza, chairperson of the Sussex Lions Daze float, chairperson for the Sled Bugs food booth at Lannon's 50th Anniversary celebration, organizes the chili cook-off and kid's Christmas party and is currently our vice president.

Outside of snowmobiling, Monique is a Girl Scout leader, volunteers at "Coats for Kids" and was the main cook on several ATV outings.

Sussex Outreach Services
During our Christmas party, Club members donated $200 for the Sussex Outreach Services. The Sled bugs then matched that $200 and were able to donate 296 pounds of food!

A special thank you to Delores and Duane for shopping and coordinating the donation with Jennifer Waltz, executive director of Sussex Outreach Services
