One way to join is to come to the next general meeting, fill out and sign your membership application, (hope you remember the birthdays of your children, if any), and pay the treasurer your first year membership dues.

All of our memberships are family memberships and include AWSC (Association of Wisconsin Snowmobile Clubs) annual dues ($10 paid by the club) and the Wisconsin Snowmobile News magazine.

We have general membership meetings on the first Tuesday of the month from September thru May.

Meetings normally start at 7:30 P.M. and are held at the Sussex Bowl N64 W24576 Main St. (aka Silver Spring Drive or County VV) in Sussex, Wisconsin 53089

The Sussex Sled Bugs Snowmobile Club is also a charter member of the Waukesha County Snowmobile Association (WCSA). This organization is involved in overall coordination and support of snowmobile trails within the county, as well as legislative monitoring and protection of snowmobile related issues. The WCSA is directly involved in trail grooming in the county.

Our membership dues for the 2007 to 2008 season are low, because of the continued success of our annual fund raiser: the Sussex Lions Daze food booth.

Current members whose family has given 6 or more volunteer hours in the past year, pay only $15 if they return the renewal application by the Oct. 2nd, 2007 General Meeting. After that they will pay $20.

New club members also get a very good value, their dues are $25 for the season. To encourage early joining and involvement, fees are reduced to only $15 if paid by the Oct. 2nd, 2007 General Meeting. They will also get a club decal and embroidered patch if they wish.

Our state association, the AWSC, is also a member of the national association ACSA (American Council of Snowmobile Associations) This group provides many resources, as well as a national voice and overview of legislative and environmental issues.
